Crafted Tap Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, mobile phone number, email address, account credentials, and information you provide while using the Services.

When you participate in a brewery's Crafted Tap program, we may also process information associated with your relationship with that brewery, such as your enrollment, membership, rewards, reward progress, token association, visits or taps, reward redemptions, and other loyalty-program activity.

We may collect technical and usage information such as device and browser information, IP address, authentication and security events, timestamps, and information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.

Crafted Tap NFC tokens may provide authentication and token-identification information when tapped. We use this information to authenticate the token, route the user to the appropriate experience, prevent misuse, and support the loyalty program associated with the token.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• create, authenticate, and maintain accounts;
• enroll fans in participating brewery programs;
• associate Crafted Tap tokens with fan enrollments;
• provide membership and reward experiences;
• track qualifying loyalty activity and reward progress;
• process and record reward redemptions;
• provide brewery administration and operational functionality;
• send account verification, authentication, service, and security communications;
• operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Crafted Tap;
• prevent fraud, abuse, replay, unauthorized access, and other misuse;
• comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.

3. SMS and Mobile Information

Crafted Tap may use the mobile number you provide to send account verification or authentication messages, including one-time verification codes.

Message frequency varies based on your login and verification requests. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages or HELP for help. Opting out of authentication messages may prevent you from completing phone-based authentication or accessing features that require phone verification.

Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, and mobile opt-in information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose mobile information to service providers that process communications on our behalf solely as necessary to provide the Services, such as telecommunications, authentication, hosting, or infrastructure providers. Those providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us and not for their own marketing.

Consent to receive account-verification messages does not constitute consent to receive marketing messages. If Crafted Tap or a participating brewery offers promotional SMS messaging in the future, any required marketing consent will be obtained separately.

4. Participating Breweries

Crafted Tap enables participating breweries to operate loyalty and fan programs. Information related to your enrollment, membership, rewards, token, and activity with a brewery may be available to that brewery as necessary to administer its Crafted Tap program and serve its fans.

A participating brewery may have its own privacy practices for information it collects independently of Crafted Tap. This Privacy Policy applies to Crafted Tap's handling of information through the Services.

5. Service Providers

We may use service providers to help us provide functions such as hosting, database infrastructure, authentication, communications, analytics, payment processing, security, and technical support.

We provide these service providers only the information reasonably necessary for them to perform services on our behalf and require them to handle information consistent with their contractual and legal obligations.

6. When We May Disclose Information

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

• provide the Services to you or a participating brewery;
• comply with law, legal process, or lawful governmental requests;
• protect the rights, safety, security, or property of Crafted Tap, our users, participating breweries, or others;
• investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our agreements;
• support a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No system can guarantee absolute security, and users should also take reasonable steps to protect their accounts and devices.

9. Your Choices

You may choose not to provide certain information, although doing so may prevent you from using some Crafted Tap features.

You may reply STOP to supported Crafted Tap SMS messages to opt out and HELP for help. Where account settings are available, you may use them to manage applicable account information and preferences.

10. Children's Privacy

Crafted Tap is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Services. If we learn that we have collected such information in circumstances prohibited by applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date displayed on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the Services when appropriate.
